Jukyung Kim Graduate Piano Recital

Pianist, Jukyung Kim, is from South Korea, and began playing the piano at the age of four. While in high school, she won music competitions, performed at the winner’s recital, and in orchestra concerts as a soloist. She continued her career by studying at Ewha Womans University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance. After graduation, Jukyung continued to perform recitals and teach young students. She has been continuing her studies since 2016 under Dr. Scarambone at EKU. she serves as a collaborative pianist for faculty and student recitals. In 2017, she won the EKU Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist with the EKU Symphony Orchestra. Upon graduation in 2017, she plans to continue her career as a collaborative pianist, pianist, and piano teacher at EKU. In her recital, she will perform significant piano solo pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy.
