Ryan Fogg Guest Piano Recital

Ryan Fogg is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Keyboard Studies at Carson-Newman University. A native Texan, he holds degrees in Piano Performance from The University of Texas at Austin (DMA), The University of Houston (MM), and East Texas Baptist University (BM, with distinction). Dr. Fogg maintains an active performing schedule and has presented solo recitals throughout the United States. In addition, he has collaborated with the Blair String Quartet, appeared as concerto soloist with the Knoxville Wind Symphony, and recorded new works by American composers through Albany Records.
A dedicated teacher, Dr. Fogg has been recognized by Carson-Newman University with the Teaching Excellence and Leadership Award and the Faculty Creativity Award. He currently serves as the Senior Piano Competitions Chair for the Tennessee Music Teachers Association, and he is in high demand as an adjudicator for local and state festivals and competitions. He has written articles for Clavier Companion, American Music Teacher, and Piano Pedagogy Forum and has previously served on the faculties of Northwest Missouri State University and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. His former teachers include Gregory Allen, Danielle Martin, Robert Brownlee and Dr. Randall Sulton
