Bio

Edgar Gonsales is a Brazilian pianist who engages not only in a solo career but also works with chamber music and as a collaborative pianist.

Edgar performs concerts, and recitals, in South-America (Brazil) and the United States. Gonsales won the first prize at MTNA (2014) State Piano Competition - young artist category (KY) and EKU Concerto Competition (2015), and multiple prizes obtained in Brazil. Edgar currently works as a collaborative pianist and Group Piano Class instructor at Eastern Kentucky University and teaches for F.A.M.E. (Foster Academy for Excellence) In addition, he serves as the organist at First Presbyterian Church in Richmond - KY.
