Jennifer Ku is a native Taiwanese, who received her bachelor degree from National Taiwan Academy of Arts (now renamed as Taiwan University of Arts), Aspirantura (PhD) from Moscow Conservatory and DMA from University of Kentucky. As a soloist Jennifer has performed in Taiwan, China, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, United Kingdom and the U.S. Her concert appearances include: Recital in Carnegie Hall (Weil Hall), a series of benefit concerts in Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas for helping Russian orphanages, Opening ceremony of Zubov Youth Piano Competition (Russia), International Conference of Humanities (Hawaii), Gulangyu Concert Hall (Xiamen, China), Harbin Concert Hall (Harbin, China), concert series in Taipei Economic & Cultural Representative Office in New York, as well as concert series of Christ the King Cathedral (Lexington, Kentucky in the U.S.)

As a guest pianist, Jennifer performed with the Moscow Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Dubninsky City Symphony Orchestra (Russia), University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra and Xiamen University Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber pianist, Jennifer has performed in Scriabin Museum (Moscow, Russia), toured in Alexandrov, Vladimir (Russia), Xiamen and Taipei. She completed CD recordings published by Taiwan National Palace Museum, and for Susuki violin education resource in Taiwan.

    2017-2018, Jennifer has been invited to give recitals, master class and lecture in Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) and Cardiff University (U.K.) 

Jennifer Ku has been interviewed by numerous media sources, such as: ETV (Taiwan), Taiwan Outlook, Joy Radio (Taiwan), Radio Taiwan International, Taipei Classical Music FM99.7, Taichung Classical (Taiwan), Radio UFO (Taiwan), E-New papers of Ministry of Culture (Taiwan), “Observation” Journal (Taiwan), Fujian Daily Newspaper, Sun News, Xiamen Radio FM 90.9. In 2017 her first personal documentary film was made and broadcasted by China Huayi Broadcasting Corporation Company. 

In addition to her music pursuits, Jennifer is also a certificated interpreter from Russian Ministry of Culture. She served as an interpreter for the Taiwan International Music Festival, Taipei National Concert Hall and Theatre, World Trade Exhibition in Taipei and Xiamen University International Piano Festival. She also wrote reviews for the “Performing Arts” magazine published by Taiwan National Concert Hall. Her book translation (Russian to Chinese) “What is Art” by Lev Tolstoy is published in Taipei in 2013.

Jennifer worked as an adjunct faculty in National Taiwan Chengchi University (Slavic language department), University of Defense (teaching Russian language at the Language Center) and program host of Russian division at the Radio International Taiwan. Now she is a piano professor as well as the head of the keyboard division of music department at Xiamen University (China)
